Early learning and childcare

All four year olds and eligible three and two year olds (criteria apply) can receive funded early learning and childcare for 600 hours a year.

This allocation will be increased to 1140 hours a year by 2020, which equates to 22 hours a week if taken year round or 30 hours a week if used term-time only. The system is flexible allowing parents to choose from a variety of options. As provision is different in each Council area visit Moray ELC or Highland ELC for more information.
