Further and higher education

‎Secondary education is from age 12 - 18 with secondary school being compulsory up to 16. From age 16 young people have the following options

  • Continue at secondary school
  • Attend a college of further education
  • Undertake an apprenticeship
  • Go directly into work or other form of training
  • Volunteering or gap year

Disabled Veterans Scholarship Fund - offered by the Open University this fund will supprt 50 disabled veterans injured in, or due to, their military service.
