Additional support for learning
In Scotland it's recognised that every child and young person is different and may need additional support at times; children of parents in the Armed Forces are recognised as a distinct group who may suffer from interrupted learning as a result of their parent's service. Whilst there's no Service Pupil Premium (SPP) in Scotland, additional support is given as and when needed and for a variety of reasons, including parental deployment, separation and mobility of service life. If you're deploying or mobilising please let the school know so they can support your child if required.
